ABOUT THE ARTIST

Crystal Springer is a self-taught artist based in Middle Tennessee, originally from Iowa, whose acrylic and mixed media paintings celebrate the beauty and symbolism of the natural world with a touch of fantasy.

She built a successful career in corporate accounting while art remained her true passion.  In every spare moment, she dedicated herself to developing the skills and techniques that define her work today.  Inspired by wildlife, florals, and the beauty of the outdoors, she creates paintings that are meant to be experienced, not simply observed.

Crystal layers bold color with raw graffiti inspired textures and stamping techniques to evoke deep emotion without a single word. Whether painting a weathered rose, a soaring owl, or a buffalo charging through a storm, her work explores themes of hope, resilience, serenity, wonder, and quiet strength, leaving space for each viewer to discover their own meaning.

For Crystal, art is more than something to create and something to look at, it’s a way to share joy and it’s a reminder to pause, breathe, and step into a whimsical world where nature carries emotion and the viewer’s own heart can become part of the journey.

Her work has been showcased and can be found in various venues and shows across Middle Tennessee. She is also an active member of the Stones River Craft Association.
